This practice has long-standing experience in the provision of medical services in occupational and industrial medicine for business and industry. Drs Gueret, Holland and Ryan anre all members of the faculty of occupational medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and recognised by the Irish Medical Council as specialists in occupational medicine.

Recent Irish and EC legislation has greatly increased the commitment and resources which employers must make available to safeguard employee well-being at work. The requirement to protect the health and safety of employees is embodied in recent EC directives and in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 1989. The production of satisfactory safety statements and adherence to certain minimum health and safety standards is now required by law.
